About the Area Claims Manager Position

As an Area Claims Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the claims process and ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing and evaluating claims submitted by patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies.
  • Investigating any discrepancies or potential fraud.
  • Working closely with the billing and coding team to ensure accurate documentation.
  • Collaborating with external agencies and legal teams for resolving complex claims.
  • Providing guidance and support to team members on claims-related issues.
  • Regularly analyzing claim data to identify trends and implement process improvements.

Our ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and possesses excellent communication and problem-solving skills. In-depth knowledge of healthcare billing and claims procedures is essential.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in claims management within the healthcare industry.
  • Proficiency in utilizing electronic medical record systems and claims processing software.
  • Strong understanding of medical coding and billing guidelines.
  • Excellent knowledge of reimbursement practices and insurance regulations.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Professional certifications in healthcare management or related fields are highly preferred.
