About the Role:

As a Physician specializing in Palliative Care at Bay Regional Medical Center, you will play a crucial role in helping patients manage their pain, symptoms, and improve their quality of life. Your expertise and empathy will provide comfort and support to patients and their families during challenging times.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop tailored care plans for patients
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patient needs and goals
  • Manage pain and symptoms through various treatment modalities
  • Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and families
  • Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records

Qualifications:

  • Medical degree and valid license to practice in the state of Maryland
  • Board certification in Palliative Care or willingness to obtain certification
  • Experience in a palliative care setting is preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
