Overview
As an Athletic Trainer at Bay Regional Medical Center, you will play a critical role in providing comprehensive care to athletes of all levels. Responsibilities
- Evaluate and assess athletes' physical condition and injuries
- Create personalized treatment plans and provide therapeutic interventions
- Implement injury prevention strategies through training and educational programs
- Collaborate with physicians and physical therapists to coordinate comprehensive care
- Administer first aid and emergency care when necessary
- Monitor athletes' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Document and maintain accurate medical records
- Educate athletes on proper techniques, conditioning, and injury prevention
- Participate in outreach programs to promote sports safety and performance enhancement
Qualifications
To be considered for the position of Athletic Trainer, you must meet the following requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training or related field
- Certification: Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC)
- Licensure: Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience working as an Athletic Trainer
- Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
