Responsibilities:
- Perform venipuncture and capillary puncture to collect blood samples from patients
- Ensure proper patient identification and labeling of samples for accurate processing
- Follow strict protocols and maintain sanitary conditions during specimen collection
- Collaborate with the laboratory team to prioritize and distribute samples for testing
- Document and maintain accurate records of all collected samples
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and address any concerns or questions
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a phlebotomy training program or certification
- Prior experience as a phlebotomist preferred
