Responsibilities of a Cardiac Monitor Tech

As a Cardiac Monitor Tech, your primary responsibility will be to monitor and interpret electrocardiogram (ECG) recordings in order to detect and report any abnormalities or changes in a patient's heart rhythm. You will work closely with physicians and nurses to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of patient care.

Other key responsibilities include:

• Placing electrodes on the patient's chest, arms, and legs to obtain accurate ECG recordings
• Operating and troubleshooting ECG machines and other monitoring equipment
• Recognizing and responding to emergency situations and assisting healthcare providers as needed

Required Qualifications
