About the Position

Bay Regional Medical Center is currently seeking a Full Time Patient Registration Representative to join our team at Saint Francis Hospital. As a Patient Registration Representative, you will play a vital role in ensuring a smooth and efficient registration process for our patients.

Responsibilities

  • Registering patients by collecting and accurately entering demographic and insurance information into the electronic medical records system.
  • Verifying insurance coverage and obtaining necessary authorizations.
  • Collecting patient payments and providing assistance with financial arrangements when needed.
  • Communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to address any registration-related inquiries or concerns.
  • Adhering to all relevant privacy and confidentiality policies and procedures.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate should possess:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients from diverse backgrounds.
