The Role of a CT Technologist

As a CT Technologist, you will play a crucial role in our healthcare team. Your primary responsibility will be to perform diagnostic computerized tomography (CT) scans on patients. This includes properly positioning patients, operating CT equipment, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality medical images for accurate diagnoses.

In addition to conducting CT scans, you will also be responsible for patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures. You will need to explain the scanning process, answer any questions or concerns, and ensure the patient's well-being throughout the examination.

Requirements

  • Valid certification as a CT Technologist
  • Proficiency in operating CT equipment and associated software
  • Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional problem-solving skills
