Position Overview

Bay Regional Medical Center is currently seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the position of Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) Forensic Per Diem. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing comprehensive care to individuals who have experienced sexual violence.

About the Role

As an RN SANE Forensic Per Diem, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough medical examinations and assessments for survivors of sexual assault
  • Collecting forensic evidence with attention to detail and adherence to protocols
  • Offering emotional support and empathy to survivors throughout the examination process
  • Documenting findings accurately and maintaining confidential records
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including law enforcement and social services, to ensure continuity of care
  • Participating in ongoing professional development and training programs to enhance skills and knowledge

Qualifications and Requirements

Our ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of [State]
