Responsibilities of a Medical Assistant - Cardiac Surgery Office

As a Medical Assistant - Cardiac Surgery Office, you will be an integral part of the healthcare team, working closely with physicians, nurses, and other medical professionals. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with patient intake and preparing them for examinations
  • Recording vital signs and medical history
  • Performing routine administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records
  • Assisting physicians during examinations and surgeries
  • Providing patient education and support
  • Ensuring a clean and safe environment for patients

Requirements for the Position

To be considered for the Medical Assistant - Cardiac Surgery Office position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Completion of a medical assistant training program
  • Current certification as a Medical Assistant
  • Prior experience in a cardiology or cardiac surgery setting
