Are you passionate about the healthcare industry? We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Lab Assistant to join our dynamic team at St. Peter's Hospital. As a Lab Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our laboratory operations and ensuring accurate and timely test results for our patients.

Responsibilities

As a Lab Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

  • Collecting and processing specimens for testing
  • Preparing samples and conducting various laboratory tests
  • Operating and maintaining laboratory equipment
  • Recording and analyzing test results
  • Ensuring proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the laboratory
  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals to facilitate accurate diagnosis and treatment

Qualifications

To qualify for the Lab Assistant position, you should have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience working in a laboratory setting
