Responsibilities and Duties

As an Assistant Teacher, you will play a crucial role in supporting the lead teacher and facilitating a positive learning environment for children. Your responsibilities and duties will include:

  • Assisting in developing and implementing age-appropriate lesson plans
  • Supervising children and maintaining a safe, clean, and organized classroom
  • Providing various interactive activities to encourage the social, emotional, and intellectual development of children
  • Assisting with meal and snack times, ensuring proper nutrition and hygiene
  • Monitoring and documenting children's progress and behavior
  • Collaborating with the lead teacher and other team members to create a positive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • A passion for working with children, demonstrating patience, compassion, and understanding
  • Previous experience in a childcare setting or relevant education
  • Knowledge of child development and early childhood education
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
