Bay Regional Medical Center is currently seeking a skilled and compassionate EVS Aide to join our team in Chelsea, Michigan. As an EVS Aide, your role will be vital in maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors. This important position contributes directly to the overall patient experience and plays a key role in infection control.

EVS Aide Responsibilities

As an EVS Aide at Bay Regional Medical Center, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including:

  • Performing routine cleaning and sanitization of patient rooms, common areas, and other designated areas
  • Properly disposing of waste and hazardous materials according to established protocols
  • Stocking and replenishing supplies as needed
  • Responding to requests for additional cleaning and maintaining a high level of customer service
  • Following all safety guidelines and infection control protocols
  • Collaborating with different departments to ensure a clean and comfortable environment for patients

Qualifications and Skills

To be successful as an EVS Aide, the following qualifications and skills are required:

  • Prior experience in environmental services or related field is preferred
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare setting
