Responsibilities
As an Outpatient Surgery Center - Operating Room RN, your main responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standard of care for patients undergoing surgical procedures.
- Assessing patients' condition prior to, during, and after surgeries to monitor their wellbeing and ensure a successful recovery.
- Administering medications, intravenous fluids, and anesthesia as required during surgical procedures.
- Providing emotional support, education, and guidance to patients and their families throughout the surgical journey.
- Maintaining and updating patient records in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory guidelines.
- Participating in continuous education and professional development activities to enhance your knowledge and skills.
Qualifications
To be considered for the position of an Outpatient Surgery Center - Operating Room RN, you must meet the following qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan.
- Previous experience working in an operating room or surgical setting.
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, including pre-operative and post-operative care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
