Job Responsibilities

As an RN in our operating room at the outpatient surgery center, you will play a critical role in the surgical process. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Prepping the operating room and ensuring all equipment is properly sterilized and ready for use
  • Assisting the surgical team during procedures, providing necessary instruments and supplies
  • Monitoring patients' vital signs and responding promptly to any changes or concerns
  • Administering medications and anesthesia as directed by the surgeon
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Providing post-operative care and monitoring patients' recovery

Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Valid RN license in the state of Michigan
  • Prior experience in an operating room or surgical setting
  • Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and protocols
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
