Responsibilities of a Patient Care Technician

As a Patient Care Technician in the Emergency Department, you will play a key role in assisting healthcare professionals in delivering efficient and effective patient care. Your responsibilities may include:

  • Assisting with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
  • Monitoring vital signs, including temperature, heart rate, and blood pressure
  • Performing phlebotomy and collecting lab specimens

Requirements

To be considered for the position of Patient Care Technician in the Emergency Department at Bay Regional Medical Center, you must meet the following requirements:
