The Role of a Hospice RN - Weekend Warrior On-Call

As a Hospice RN - Weekend Warrior On-Call, you will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive hospice care to patients during the weekends. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing direct patient care and ensuring their comfort
  • Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans
  • Assessing patients' physical and emotional needs
  • Offering support to patients' families and providing them with necessary education
  • Documenting patient information accurately and maintaining up-to-date records
