Bay Regional Medical Center is currently seeking enthusiastic individuals for the position of Personal Care Assistant at our LIFE Broad Street facility. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate, personalized care to our patients.

Responsibilities and Duties

As a Personal Care Assistant at LIFE Broad Street, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting patients with their daily activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Providing medication reminders and assistance as required
  • Monitoring and documenting vital signs
  • Assisting with mobility and transferring patients
  • Engaging in meaningful activities and companionship
  • Observing and reporting any changes in patients' condition to the supervising nurse

Qualifications and Requirements

At Bay Regional Medical Center, we value individuals with the following qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid certification as a Personal Care Assistant
  • Prior experience working with the elderly or in a similar role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Empathetic and compassionate nature

  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
