What Does a Medical Technologist Do?

As a Medical Technologist at Bay Regional Medical Center, you will play a critical role in the accurate and timely testing of patient samples in our state-of-the-art laboratories. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Conducting routine laboratory tests on blood, urine, and other body fluids
  • Operating and maintaining laboratory equipment
  • Preparing and analyzing samples for testing
  • Interpreting test results and providing detailed reports to physicians
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
  • Following strict protocols and quality control measures

Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for the position of Medical Technologist at Bay Regional Medical Center, you should meet the following requirements:

  1. A Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or a related field
  2. Valid certification as a Medical Technologist
