Responsibilities of a Provider Relations Specialist
As a Provider Relations Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with healthcare professionals, hospice agencies, and other relevant stakeholders. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with healthcare providers to identify patient needs and develop appropriate care plans
- Acting as a liaison between the medical center and external providers to ensure effective communication and coordination of care
- Providing support, education, and resources to healthcare providers regarding hospice services and procedures
- Conducting regular visits to healthcare facilities to maintain relationships and gather feedback
- Assisting in the implementation of quality improvement initiatives related to hospice care

Requirements for the Role
As a successful candidate, you should possess the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field
- Prior experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospice or healthcare industry
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders
