Job Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive behavioral health assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Offer counseling and therapy services to patients, utilizing evidence-based practices.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care for patients.
  • Conduct group therapy sessions and facilitate psychoeducation programs.
  • Monitor patient progress and make appropriate adjustments to treatment plans.
  • Stay updated on the latest research and developments in the field of behavioral health.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Provide crisis intervention services as needed.

Qualifications and Requirements

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Behavioral Health or a related field.
  • Licensed as a Behavioral Health Specialist in the state of Georgia.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in providing behavioral health services.
  • Strong understanding of various therapeutic modalities and evidence-based practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical record systems.
  • Passion for making a positive impact on the lives of individuals with mental health challenges.
